What is Depth Therapy?

Depth therapy comes from Freud’s psychoanalytic theory, which focuses on bringing conscious awareness to unconscious processes.

Often illustrated as an iceberg, the unconscious influences behaviors without one’s awareness. Bringing it to the surface allows for greater agency in one’s life and the breaking of unhealthy patterns.
